Which legend gave the best performance at the Grammys?

Mick's performance was exceptional. No one controls the stage better. The stones first paid homage to Solomon Burke on their early albums. With the song performed at the grammys first appearing on the stones 3rd US album "NOW" in 1965. Mick and the boys are more responsible to inoducing wondeful r&b, soul to the masses. If it was not for the Stones I would have missed out on some fantastic music because they got me interested in he "masters". Please stop the BS that they are not a relevant band and remain so.

Barbra was the best and people should have more respect... I only saw Mick Jagger's and Streisand's and well I loved hers. She looked gorgeous!

Mick Jagger had the night wrapped up....!! Mick doesn't need feathers, eggs, raw language or even a "legend" hat......!! Come on, Barbra Streisand, really???
The show should have started with Mick Jagger so we wouldn't have to waste our time on crap....!!

Poor Bob Dylan . The song is a classic ...but I could not understand much ..he looked a bit befuddled . The man is a legend , for heavans sake have the sound right or something . I was embarassed watching it . As for Babs..leave her alone ! And Mick...someone get the man a sandwich quick ! My 22 year old daughter asked me if he is anorexic . But ..the guy sure can move . I should be so lucky when I am that old !

Yea sure as if Babs even belongs in the company of these 2 men, maybe cooking their dinners after a wobble wash....She's in the Barry Manilow section I'm afraid for those delusional folks out there. A big star in the liberal world, she's non existent outside of it because of her politics and refusal to keep her mouth shut about things she knows nothing about like Jane Fonda, nearly traitorous depending on who you ask.

    Ask me they're both traitors.

As for Barbara @ 83, that is great to hear that you are still enjoying some of your youth from long ago. I'm 65 and Mick still moves me like he did when we were all in our prime.
Like one poster said, none of todays artist will bring a crowd to it's feet like Mick did 30 years from now. Way to bring it Mick!! At the end, it looked like he did not want to stop.

  • Barbara - 13 years ago

I think that Mick Jagger is amazing!!!! & I am 83 with tons of energy also, almost the energy he has..

  • Steven Ball - 13 years ago

Mick looked & sounded great. Dylan & Streisand seemed to both have microphone problems. Is it too much to ask that these superstars be properly sound checked? Aretha altho she didn't perform also looked terrific.

  • Margaret - 13 years ago

Dylan was crap, Babs' lackluster performance was sad. Hint: If you can't still do one of your big hits, don't try.
Mick can still do it and better than ever. He is a consummate showman.

legends never fade , Barbra,Mick,Bob, what other performer can except to be on the stage 30-40 yrs from now. NONE

  • dozer - 13 years ago

babs is overrated and looked like a troll while you couldn't even understand dylan. jagger brought it and was on fire.

i saw the stones in dallas at the cotton bowl(twice) in the 80's the first time as an all day and night affair mick was really old (so i thought ) 40's he started on the stage at 3/4 o'clock and danced (tina turner moves) till midnight they are truly the greatest rock and roll band i have read where he went to tina to learn and learn he did, last night was no different his crowd control is tina's

  • Mary - 13 years ago

Mick Jagger still knows how to energize a large audience. His performing stamina and intuitive ability to work a crowd are unbelievable .... Mick is truly one of a kind.

  • Dave Askren - 13 years ago

Sorry, but Streisand is NOT a legend, except in her own mind.

  • H - 13 years ago

Mick - still the best! ( Too bad everyone stopped listening years ago...his song-writing and musicianship and craft are still rising - as any true artists' would.)
