I agonised over the peril of the smartest show ever on television-Arrested Development. I didn't even like it at first-turned the pilot off after 15 minutes. A few weeks later, I was babysitting and had few choices at the house I was at-so I watched a four episode block of AD. I was hooked midway through the third! I Thrilled as it swept award show after award show-and suffered online with other loyal viewers as Fox berated its small number of viewers. I delighted in David Cross's rant about Fox's inability to market an award winning show, and gnashed my teeth as rumour after rumour was shot down concerning Showtime or HBO picking it up. Now I sit and pray with the cult following that grows daily that the Arrested Development Movie is real. Will I dive in right at the start and take a chance on love? Certainly! But only if the series is deservant of this love.....and to all my ADdict friends out there..."COME ON!"

Actually, I have found that when a shows re-runs appear I am more apt to try something new. Risking all then does not seem such a big deal. When the shows are new - I have to choose between ones I KNOW I WANT TO SEE, and those I think I might like. Tough sometimes.
