i agree with justin and some of the people on here...in my opinion abortion is murder. it is taking the life of a child. i understand about the issue of money and how it might not be planned or wanted...but if you dont want a baby the dont have sex because guess what...sometimes you can get pregnant. and in the case of rape...yes it is a tragic thing that is not the womans fault...but its not the childs fault either. so why should the child be punished and killed for it? why should a child ever have to punished for their parents crimes weather it be rape, drunkin sex, or a mistake that somehow resulted in a pregnancy? and as for the age issue...reality check...people that are 16 are having sex and sometimes getting pregnant. im 16 and most of my friends are having sex already...kids are starting to have sex at 12 sometimes now. and pregnancy and abortion are things people our age have to think about. so no, he is not too young to have an opinion on subject bacause like it or not it is something that people our age sometimes have to deal with.

Rape is an extremely traumatic experience and then on top of that you want the woman whose been raped to carry the child of her rapist around for 9 months. Women are getting pregnant the VAST majority of the time because of their OWN choices. A baby shouldn't die for that. In cases like rape, it IS very VERY sad - but again, it is not the baby's fault. I'm not saying that any of these women should definitely raise their child, but adoption is far better than murder.
