I know David will come out on top. He is such an incredibly talented and gifted artist, the best IMO. It's Jive's loss for sure. I think though that it could be a blessing for David, they did little to promote him since his first album. I'm sure there are lots of opportunities for David and the right people out there to support him and give him the promo he deserves. I'm sure there are positive things in the works for David. His fans will stand by him all the way. I'm a fan for life.

I have mixed feelings, tbh, because I really wanted him to get out of the contract with Jive because they really don't promote their artists if you are not Britney S or Justin Timberlake. Then without a major label, it's not easy to make a record. Well, the best way is to find a label that understands your music and supports the direction you want to aim. Yes, this could be a better opportunity to move on. I think David didn't want to stay with Jive due to their differing ideas about their directions. You know Jive wants to make an artist like Britney who sells sex, but David is never that kind of artist for fame. That's why I follow him. Pure talent. His voice touches my inner core.
