Umm judging by all your comments you misread the poll. Did the poll say is pot worse than alcohol? No. The pole said is smoking pot daily as a parent ok or not. Substance abuse as a parent is not a good thing at all no matter what YOU think the drugs positive traits are. And if you need to be stoned to hang out with your child or get through your day your all fucked up and shouldnt have a kid.

I agree with Dara. Alcohol causes far worse problems and it's legal. I don't understand how our country is so close-minded about pot, but alcohol is legal. Makes no sense. I honestly don't believe there is one person who knows what it truly means to be a good parent or can honestly say they've never made a mistake when parenting. As a country we need to stop judging one another and start working together.

I knew there would be some insightful comments. The problem is not essentially the issue of smoking pot... Jenell's prolem is JENELLE. The arrests (for drugs and other) are another indication that she does not have the ability to parent any child. The meth & booze is another problem that Jenelle is not admitting to. Another problem that Jenelle is not admitting to you ask? Andrew Lewis is NOT Jace's father. Jace's Dad is a former friend of Jenelle's boyfriend, Stephen. DNA... DNA!! Andrew? You are NOT the father!

I personally dont think that pot effects how you parent.If u want to be a good parent than you will no matter what your doin you just shouldnt take things to the extreme. If your going to do mind altering subtances then controll it and if you cant then you shouldnt be doing it.But i have exprenced being around a mother who is a stoner and mother who is a drunk, i would take a stoner any day over a drunk mother!

Anybody who thinks pot doesn't interfere with parenting never had a pot head for a parent. Nineteen years of living with both parents smoking does a number on a kid. Never have I been able to have friends over, when the door to my house it opened you can smell pot from the street. This year, we didn't get even dinner on Christmas because my parents sat smoking the whole day away. My older sister is a pot head too, influenced by my parents, and I worry for my niece. Pot is not addictive itself, but people can form a habit of using it, I should know.

Well I think pot should be the least of anyone's Concern .it's harmless & there is way worst things these people could be doing . People need to stay off the pot head's & be more worried about the Herion Stage that seems that soooo many people have feel into what a sad story that is

I hope the vote would be the same if it was about alcohol, which is actually worse than pot. Everyone thinks pot is this terrible thing but I would rather be around a mom who is stoned than a mom who is drunk. I have exerienced both and I'll take a stoner over a drunk any day!
