I enjoy the nostalgia stuff but there is not enough of it close to where I live. I race super comp in divsion 7 and have a good time doing it. The super classes get a bad rap, try it and you will see how hard it is to win.

Ever since NHRA's switch to 1000 foot for the nitro cars, I don't really care!!!! I use to attend up to 5 National events a year often travelling hundreds of miles and spending lots of my hard earned cash to get my drag racing fix. Now I just go to my local track (1/4 mile) and attend 2 great Lucas Oil division meets. I have a great time watching the sportsmen classes and yes, 1/4 mile racing!!!(for now)....

I went to Bowling Green Ky. for the first time in 2010, I had forgot how much fun drag racing can be. Old cars with names painted on their doors, 7 guys wrenching in the pits to make the next round, and no Paul Page!!!!! Until NHRA comes back to 1/4 mile racing, I am keeping my money in my pocket. I dropped my 35 year membership in 2009, and have never looked back. Thanks for the chance to vent, I really dig your site. DH

I follow NHRA but I will only attend nostalgia events (March Meet and a couple of Saturday nite nitro events at Bakersfield).

I voted for NHRA, but would have voted for ADRL, except I think 1/4 mile racing belongs on 1/4 mile tracks.
