Do you want DFC to remain in a national, rather than regionalised, Scottish football league?

the league must stay national to regionise it would destroy our game.
fans enjoy the away day out and the people in charge should leave the game alone
they know nothing about the ordinary football foot soldier and they dont care about the fans either.

Regionalisation would be a disgrace and an unneccessary step for a country with a small population and where travelling is never a great problem. Clubs at our level are well budgeted through years of necessity. We know how many fans we get at home, we know how far we're likely to get in the domestic cups, we know what level of sponsorship income we're going to achieve and we prepare as best we can within those limits. If only the clubs further up the league system could learn to live within their means as we have then we wouldn't be having this discussion. And as for "colt" teams playing in our leagues, I won't be back if that materialises. I will not watch one of the founding members of the Scottish Football League become cannon fodder for SPL nursery sides.

They've already regionalised some of the cup competitions and we're already fed up playing the same team.

Regionalising the league set up is a non-starter. Playing the same teams week in week out, season in season out, would only drive fans away.

Fans days, like our last two away trips would be a thing of the past.

I feel that Neil Doncaster is trying to present himself as all things to all men. It takes a guid conceit of one's self to put forward proposals and declare them to be "the only way forward".

This is especially so when every quantifiable survey by fans at all levels of the game in this country, clearly articulate that the plans as presented are at the very least unacceptable. In some respects they are the polar opposite of what they (the fans) see as "the only way forward".

Problem number 1 in Scottish football is that the majority of those who attend games are too young to remember anyone other than Celtic or Rangers winning the top league.

That is the elephant in the room and all that Doncaster and the SPL seem to be doing is throwing that elephant some more buns whilst redistributing the crumbs amongst the mice.

Anything which makes the buns fewer or smaller is 'unworkable' or 'unachievable' .

Feed the elephant! Starve the mice!

    It's good for everyone!

They are in fact trying to insult our intelligence.

Regionalisation in a country the size of Scotland is ridiculous.

No way!. .....and as for Colts........(well maybe that's one of the next questions?).

We have something very precious in the SFL.
In fact the dream the SPL are searching for, a competitive league which have important fixtures till the end of every season, with any club able to win the league on merit and merit alone
    NO NO NO to SPL

We need the voice of the 'little teams' to be heard far and wide. We do NOT want the SPL to force change on us. We (in terms of league structure) are not broke so don't try and fix us.
