My partner and I currently use your plugin on at least two sites, ours and a client's. As web designers, we try to balance maintaining our clients' sites on a regular basis with their content updates, etc. as well as updating their infrastructure, all while keeping the client's costs down (we do want to keep them as clients!). Most of the WP sites we maintain are running 2.9 or 3.0 and all are scheduled to be upgraded in the next few months. For the sites running Subscribe2, we will not upgrade WP to a version that we are not sure Subscribe2 will work smoothly on. It is something we always check your site for and test prior to putting live. If Subscribe2 needs WP 3.0, then that's what our sites will have, simple as that, for us anyway!

This poll might not give you the information you are looking for. My guess is that a large number of people coming to this site are those trying to figure out how to implement and use your plugin. As such, they are probably new WordPress users and therefore are most likely to be on a fairly recent release.
Given the download count for your plugin Vs the number of respondents to this poll, I would think that the majority of your users haven't responded. This would be normal since the majority of your users have the plugin up and running and haven't thought about it in months/years. The bulk of your existing users may only become aware of this issue if they see that an update is available on their dashboard and install it. Of course, if they are WP 2.8 or before, they'll then discover the problem.
