In my opinion, "Not Alone" with Japanese Flag is greater. It expresses true purposes: be strong, japan and we are always beside you. And a more important thing is that all of us want to give Mike a faithful thank.

The "NOT ALONE" this is the PURPOSE of the shirt...they are NOT ALONE in JAPAN, we are HERE to HELP! The Origami is cute but looks like a tour shirt! The "NOT ALONE" pretty much sums it up!!

That's a hard choice. The Origami Butterfly is a beautiful part of Japanese culture, but I think Not alone, with the Japanese Flag. Because they are certainly NOT ALONE! And I stand by Japan. God help them! Better yet, may the world help them! :'(

I love both shirts but I think more money would be made and a bigger message would come from combining the shirts. Put the origami butterfly on the front and Not Alone on the back. I feel that way the shirt delivers the strongest possible message. We persevere and we come together. that says it all.
Is it an idea to put de butterfly on the front en the ''not alone'' on the back? that way everybody is happy, hopefully everybody will buy it and we can get as much money as possible as soon as possible to the place where it's needed.

Ohhh, I so wish you combined them Mike! But I had to vote for the origami butterfly. Not because of the lp logo but because a butterfly is a great symbol, things can be bad in the started but as life goes along it becomes beautiful and you can fly along safer. And origami is a Japanese tradition. I'll definatly get which ever shirt comes out

well, i like both of them, but i prefer the butterfly one more because it has a more basic design, and Origami is a tradition in Japan, no i don't like it because of the LP logo, i think the shirt would be better if it didn't have it. just look.

I vote for not alone because I think it conveys something more than the butterfly and I think everyone can use this model even though the butterfly has a message. not alone is much better because it´s more commercial.

the lp fans will know what 'not alone' meens , but if any person wears it in the street, other could think he is just in a relationship or something like that.. so it can be meaningless.

Im gonna go with the butterfly one. Not because of the LP logo but because the general design is bound ta grab more peoples attention and attract more buyers. Ya can argue against this all ya want but this whole thing is being done ta raise money for Japan. NICE WORK MIKE!!....... MFR!!
@Inyro Yes, not alone is a linkin park song, but I don't see how other people won't get it. It's a simple message and not exactly difficult to understand...
Everyone needs to stop thinking about the exclusivity of being an lp fan and think about the disaster that has happened. The not alone tee conveys the message that the people affected have our support and are, well, not alone. The butterfly is pretty and nice and all, but it doesn't hold enough meanimg specific to this disaster. Also, the logo placement is awkward. The not alone tee is just better for this specific situation.

I guess the right shirt is better (in term of raising awareness) than the left one - also, it's more suitable for guys, too.
As much as I love butterflies and consider the origami a very nice idea, something about the design is a bit too plain in my idea.
Also, I'm not really sure about the placement of the band logo on it - imo, it takes the attention away from the butterfly and just distracts unneccessairly, because, as simple as its design is, the butterfly's design is even more simple, if you know what I mean. Maybe put the logo on the back or something (in case you decide for the butterfly shirt at all)?

Butterfly. It is symbolic of LP's HT soldier's butterfly wings. The origami symbolizes LP's integration into Japan. How can anyone not see that?

Both are brilliant! Kudos to Mike!! I end up voting for the Origami one as it has a timeless effect (I think). But the "Not Alone" slogan should be on the back unless you're going for a plain black back.
I choose the one on the right that says not alone, because the one on the left makes the focus more on the band by having their label on it (even though this would bring in more money) and that's not the message that should be conveyed right now. Even though i know that's not what mike intended by making the shirt. Though i LOVE the way it was designed! the origami butterfly is beautiful! Wish you could combine them but the message on the "not alone" shirt is far more powerful!

@Autumn, I disagree. The reason the butterfly is more fitting for the occasion is because of the symbolism. "Not Alone" is a song by Linkin Park, yes, so we as LP fans understand the significance. But will others really understand the connection?

Everyone is liking the origami shirt because it says LP. Which is understandable because we all love LP but we are forgetting the purpose of the shirt. Not Alone says a lot more then the origami shirt does. Besides, why cant one side be the front and the other be on the back?
"Not Alone" would be good, but because it is a Japanese flag background without an explicit band association, it doesn't have as inclusive a feel as "Origami Butterfly", which besides having a great design, has the LP logo, which is what brought buyers in the first place; so because it's more inclusive, most likely demand for it will be higher, resulting in higher revenue to be given to the people in Japan, which is the point anyway. :)
