I think Josh is really cute and would still be as a blonde but he looks way to young for Jennifer Lawrence which ,in no offense to Suzzane Collins, Was the worst choice possible for Katniss just because she seems older then how she apears in the book.

deff liam hemsworth petta is supposed to be a big build with blonde hair and was supposed to me strong. all of these other guys have a very pretty boy look to them and that is not whom petta was meet to be. even katness described him as being big and very strong. liam would do the best and he is good in thr romance department (the last song) he would be the best and deff notJosh Hutcherson. petta and him have nothing in common maybe he could play gale.

GARRETT HEDLUND was my Peeta while I read the books. He was perfect. I could be swayed by Liam Hemsworth or even this Pettyfer guy. BUT to even consider casting prepubescent, girly-boys Hunter Parrish or Josh Hutcherson as Peeta is a joke. It would ruin the movie for me. Peeta is big, strong and handsome. NOT scrawny and impish-looking.

Alex Pettyfer is extremely attractive but Peeta needs to be more sweet. From what I've seen, Alex doesn't usually do cute and sensitive. Plus, and maybe I'm just being picky, but I never imagined Peeta as very skinny. He's a baker's son. He always appeared in my head as kinda husky and solid (not fat), whereas Gale was tall and skinny.

I agree, Alex Pettyfer is who I was thinking should play Peeta- I didn't picture him while reading but thought of him after. He is the male lead and to compete with Gale, who I imagined to be quite the lady-killer, he has to be better looking than the guys suggested in this poll. Sorry. Hunter isn't BAD - I'd prefer him out of the two but he seems to ordinary for the role. I know it's Peeta's charm and goodness that draws people to him but he should still be a looker. Now, knowing about Alex's apparent stalker tendencies might make it hard to see him as a good-hearted guy but looks-wise it should be him or someone of his caliber.

i agree with Lily, i think Rhys Wakefield should cast as Peeta. Alex pettyfer is too pretty for Peeta, Lucas Till is too um 'disney' (not that i hate disney- but i don't think he would be good for peeta) and Liam hemsworth is just too rough for someone like Peeta. and Hunter Parrish well, i think he has that mischievous smile that really doesn't belong to Peeta.

my vote would be for alex pettyfer....honestly for a blondie...hes hot and wood b perfect for Peeta...but just in case theres a backup, i think that jake abel(played luke in percy jackson and the olympians) shood be the 2nd person!!

I really think that Josh hutcherson would be better off as Gale. he has the natural hair color for it, and i have seen him act, and i would have to say, hes really good. (in my oppinion)

I think that as much as Lucas Till would be a good peeta, i think i would have to go with Alex Pettyfer. He is in two major movies right now, "I Am Number Four" and "Beastly". But i think that when i will watch the movie, if i see Lucas Till, i will just think of Hannah Montana.
