I HAVE HAD A LOT OF STAPH INFECIONS OVER THE PAST TWO YEARS. I HAVE ONE RIGHT NOW, ON THE INSIDE THIGH OF MY RIGHT LEG. THIS IS THE WORST ONE I HAVE HAD. IT WAS SO INFLAMED (YOU COULD FEEL THE HEAT) & SWOLLEN. IT STARTED OUT AS A PIMPLE AND WHEN IT ERUPTED &OPENED UP, IT WAS THE SIZE OF A 50 CENT PIECE. IT DRAINED FOR DAYS. FINALLY THE WHITE INFECTION STARTED FALLING APART. NOW, ONE LITTLE BIT TO GO, AND IT CAN START CLOSING UP.

I HAVE CRIED SEVERAL TIMES. I AM NO CRY BABY. I CAN HANDLE THE PAIN. I GAVE BIRTH 3 TIMES WITH NO MEDS,( AND THE 3RD WAS A 10LB. 6 OZ. BABY!) THEN I GAVE BIRTH TO 2 MORE, DILATED TO 8 & 8 AND 1/2 (BEFORE HAVING EMERGENCY C-SECTIONS).

I NEVER WANT TO HAVE ONE THIS BAD AGAIN. I FOUGHT IT WITH NEOSPORIN,BACITRACIN, REST AND HEALTHY EATING.

I have been living with MRSA for 4 years now! I've had 6 outbreaks and currently suffering from one now! I've been to the ID specialist and all they say is I'll have to live with. I have scars on my face stomach and leg! Normally when I get it they start me on double dose of septra! I've now started washing with Hibiclens (spelling)! The ID specailist also has a cream to put into your nose and another antibiotic to work with the septra! I pray no one has to deal with this disease! It is so painful! I just wish someone could give me an answer of why does it continue to come back!

oh my some of those pictures are actually kind of scary. I had staph infection one time, I thought it was a spider bite at first (we have alot of brow recluse spiders here in Texas). It ended up being staph, the doctor said it was probably from wearing some damp clothes I had near the window sill.

I have been dealing with mrsa for over a year now and it is just now trying to heal but then I get new ones that come back as well, I even have two round purple round marks on my left cheek as well who wants mrsa on their face. Its bad enough that I have it on my stomach, my thighs, breasts and behind. This is the most devastating infection that i have ever encountered in my life. I really want to heal from this. I did work in an elementary school and I quit my job I am going to continue to look for a solution and continue to be proactive because this infection is no joke It has affected my life in so many ways.

Since 2/07 I have had 14 MRSA outbreaks on my legs, chest and buttocks; along with MONTHLY outbreaks in both ear canals. Each occourance leaves a tale-tell purpilish scar in its' wake. I have taken all precautions and every antibiotic imaginable prescribed by some of the best ID specialists in the area but sadly, nothing seems to work.It seems to have found a suitable host and will not go away. So I just live with it. The ear infections are by far the most painful. The canals emit an oily fluid marking the onset of a new outbreak and itch terribly. The pain increases as the eruptions begins, lasting for 4-5 days before lesion lances itself and the sore begins to heal. The pain at that time will feel like a hot needle and last for a day or so.
This has nearly driven me to the point of suicide; it is simply unbearable at times.

A biopsy was taken from an inflamed, itchy area in the center of my chest in 2/08. The results, as told to me by my doctor, were that I had an infected spider bite. Since then I have had a recurring severe itch with a pimple that spread in the upper crotch area of my buttocks. Also, there was a redness on my upper part of my left hand and I was prescrbed antibiotics.
