I believe the results of this poll were influenced by the collective effort of an anonymous message board. (That's why Palin is leading).

Sarah is the best true conservative on the list. Herman Cain 2nd, I love his practical business experience. He knows how to balance a budget and make profit. I will say this though; if Allen West and or Marco Rubio get in the race I could switch my vote. Those men are incredibly inspiring and forces to be reckoned with. Allen West is who I would love to see run, he is a true leader and warrior with strong values. He can out debate anyone. Until then Palin is #1.

Of course the media savaged Palin. With the intention of destroying her viability. Should she not be the candidate, however, they will forget all about her and turn their vicious attentions to whoever is.
Palin is the polar opposite of Obama, and the country will be begging for that in 2012. And for such a beautiful woman, it is ironic that she has more "spine" than any of the politicians of the Repub front runners. Who else has been countering him on every issue on the National stage since day one besides her and Bachmann?
The "Tsunami of 2010" will continue in 2012. Produced by Obama himself. I predict that Palins biggest hurdle will be achieving the nomination, because whoever gets that is going to be the next President.

I agree with Jack........If she decides to run she will come out swinging. Many people think she is a moron. Imagine what happens when they see the light! Why is it that Bibi N invited Sarah to his home for dinner...what other politician has been invited?

No one , except Palin, has any chance at all of beating the anointed one. Period!

I wonder if the crowd here is in any way indicative of Conservatives generally. Is there a real split then between conservative and GOP. I chose Palin, bit all the other polls I see have her way down.

@ Jammie: The two person race her v Obama would be interesting. Obama has 40% in the bag. But what independent votes Obama on the ABP (anybody but Palin) theme? The guy is destroying the country and Indies turned against his party in massive numbers last November. Do Indies really say "I hate the party bit I'll vote Obama anyway"?

If he is at 40%, he needs 10% more. No conservative votes for him. He needs probably more than half of the Indies. Palin or not, I don't see it.

Palin/Huckabee...no spin .. !st choice would be Kasich (ohio gov) and Rubio (fla) would be the winning ticket.

My vote is for Sarah Palin. It's vitally important for America to address its reliance on foreign oil and Sarah Palin will do just that and I simply trust her.

sarah palin is at the level in this poll that I expect, with no one even close to her position because no one is. my insight of her magnetic power and vision was very clear at the conclusion of her national V P speech , and has simply been validated and enforced with
her impact on the political scene.....sarah is the voice of America. she is america..........

Why is Ron Paul not on this list?

Sarah Palin. My reason AK has $12 billion in surplus due directly to her policies.

Curiosity...the reason for casting my vote for Sarah Palin. I'l like to see to see how far she can get; maybe she can make it to the Oval Office! Madam President--an intriguing concept for America, which our country may need: a strong, conservative woman rather than a weak
RINO-man. She seems to be the ONLY one who pushes back twice as hard if someone pushes her.

I would like you to create a poll asking for all the candidates you would vote for...

It may be a stretch but in my opinion the only two that could possibly beat Obama is Newt and John Bolton, both have experience in foreign affairs and Washington Politics and would best be suited to debate this make believe president.

How is Rudy Giuliani's name on any presidential poll? Are you kidding me? His own children will not vote for him.

    Duh?,... LOSING!

It was unfortunate that Sarah was Chosen in 2008 to be VicePresident to John McCain President after finding out this week that Spookydude George Soros contributed to John's 2008 Presidential campaign! John exploited Sarah and the left wing state run media made 'mincemeat' of her; why would she put her family to that kind of scrutiny again!

Im for Donald Trump and I hope he decides to get into the race!!

I hate to say it, but I think if Palin is the 2012 Republican candidate we'll lose. The country's too evenly split and most liberals would vote for anybody but her.
