You should probably research it a little bit more before deciding to write an article on it. One of the prominent reasons marijuana is a gateway drug is because it creates interaction with drug dealers who usually sell some other form of drug. Also alcohol is a drug, but it is not called a gateway drug? This is because you buy alcohol from a gas station/liquor store, not some shady dude who calls himself "D." It has been legalized for medicinal use in 17 states as of 2011 with very promising results. Once the government legalizes marijuana, it is MUCH easier for it to control it as well. Such as with alcohol. How often do you see alcohol kingpins?
moron if marijuana were legalized it will be treated like alcohol. which means you can not smoke while you are working, driving or if u are a minor etc. and is not a gateway drug. alcohol tobacco are way more harmful than weed because there is people who abuse them and are not mature enough to handle it
