Couponing can save you money IF done the right way! I never shop according to my coupons - I shop according to household NEEDS. Once I have my shopping list prepared, I then get coupons to go along with items needed in the house. This way will save money! If you buy stuff just because you have a coupon for it, then don't use the product, you have wasted your money. I generally save anywhere from $25 - $50 per shopping event. This is money saved for items I would have purchased anyway - even if I didn't have a coupon for it. Most shopping trips made, I usually have a coupon to match every item on my list. Trust me, I tried it the other way about 20 yrs. ago; and, found that I bought stuff we didn't even like - just because I had a coupon for it. Just remember to make your list FIRST - then, find coupons to match your item.
