This is a great show, I feel a little like I'm in India myself when I watch it. I love the street scenes especially. Nothing seems phony, but really the one little thing is that most people don't call and order by phone the way we once did, or do they? I loved the wedding with the elephant. Believe it or not, somoene did that here in DC. They rented an elephant for a traditional wedding of this type and it paraded along with the wedding party, down a major DC Avenue, on a weekend of course. Turns out it's not completely uncommon either.
At any rate the show and it's characters are very endearing and I hope they give it a chance. Even Big Bang wasn't sent to another time slot till it was had a good shot at keeping it's fans. The 10:30 thing was hard.

R U SERIOUS?!! This show is amazing. The way it brings two completely different cultures together with great humor and not being racist is incredible. It is extremely entertaining with various personalities within the cast. NBC would be stupid not to let this show develop a few more seasons.

I absolutely love this show! I stumbled onto it one Thursday evening and was immediately attracted by the characters and the storyline. Although the show is set in India, it is not Indian, but universal. In addition, it's entertaining!

Kill it?! Really?! This country is soooooo PC!! I'm Black and lost my call center job 18 months ago, probably to India but funny is funny. Or are we so racist we can't see the funny in a show with a majority of Indian actors? We really need to get over ourselves either way!
