I love OTH even though Lucas and Payton left the show, it is still awesome! The script is still great. There's always something exciting going on which makes me not want to miss the next episode. The new actors on the show do a fantastic job.

One Tree Hill is my life!! Theres no excitement without it. I admit it was better with Hilarie and Chad but it is still amazing!! The cast is still the beat and the viewers are still loyal as ever. So PLEASE keep OTH!

Sure its been around for a long time but it's still going strong, and to me that is even more impressive then the newer shows. For a show to be around for 8seasons and still be able to capture fans and audience, that is absolutly astonishing.

It's an amazing and awesome show. It deals with everyday life that we as people face day to day. I mean we all know taht it has to end eventually but NOT NOW not like this atleast let it make it to Season 10 i think it deserves that much.People are saying that they should just have one more season why?Why not 2 more cause 1 more season is going to get you hooked in again then you're going to be saying ok just let it make it to Season 10. The show is fantastic and we have come to know and love these characters they have become like part of my family...if one of them is in risk of dying I'm sitting here crying if there having a wedding I'm sitting here with full of joy.Atleast let them make it to there 200 episodes.I LOVE ONE TREE HILL.If it every ends it will truely be one of the SADDEST DAYS OF MY LIFE.So keep it THANKS. :)
I'm not a big television watcher, I prefer to read. However, OTH, which I started watching during season 5 (and got hooked and bought all the seasons on DVD), is one of the three TV shows I watch, the others being Nikita and Army Wives. I have to agree with pretty much everyone else...OTH should have one more season. Just one more to tie off the loose ends nicely, get them to 200 episodes. This show has been absolutely amazing for me. Through this show I have discovered so much great music that I never would have heard otherwise. Yes, all good things must come to an end, but please, give us one more season.

One tree hill should get a ninth season because its a show that people relate to (e.g. teen pregnancies, depression, death and reaching for your dreams). The cast of this show are amazing actors because they make the characters realistic and relatale. Mark Schwan deserves 200 or more episode for this awesome show he created and he deserves to get more respect for creating this brilliant show. The show can still go on without Chad and Hilarie because the show still has James, Joy and Sophia, three of the main five actors. There should be atleast 10 or 11 seasons, so the show can have a proper ending. I know this show has to end eventually but it should go on for 10 years, just like Friends did.
I know that OTH will have to end someday:(, but not this season or even this soon!!!! I've loved this show since it first aired 8 years ago and have been glued to it ever since! It's a great show and a lot of people can relate to the cast and storylines! I would love to see it at least make 10 seasons and end with a bang, but if it has to come to an end soon than I definitely agree it deserves a 9th season and a grand finale!!! An ending that would make all of us OTH fans very proud:). CW don't let us down!
One Tree Hill is the show that catches you. The show that you want to keep watching, since every time there is something new. They have been the promoter for a lot of other shows that started there career on the CW, to mention one Gossip Girl. This show deserves to have a proper farewell and I think with a season 9, 200 episodes and an official announced series finale season, it's a beautiful way to say goodbye. They have the most loyal fan base all over the world that there is and we will support them all the way. One Tree Hill has helped a lot of people in their lives and they are still an example that a show doesn't need a lot of media to keep going. As another person already mentioned they were the little show that could but in the meantime we are already 8 seasons in. One Tree Hill has to stay, we are not ready to let go yet!!

One Tree Hill has been one of the CW's most successful t.v. series! there is a reason why it has lasted this long! people love it, people relate to it and it would be a major mistake on the CW's part to drop it! It deserves an unreal send off They canot end it this sason its just not right. Bring it to 200 episodes with a great finale episode and that will make us all happy. I guarantee the ratings would go up if you announced it was the last season of OTH!

One Tree Hill is different from any other teen drama. I started watching in 6th grade and now in my freshman year of college, the show is still the center of m life. It's often called "the little show that could" and it made it eight great seasons because its fan base is so loyal. Every show has to end eventually but now is not the time for OTH. The fans want to see Brooke be a mother and Haley & Nathan raise another child. And maybe even have Lucas and Peyton back for an episode or two. The point is, now just isn't the time for the show to end. The fans and characters deserve one more season. Also, like someone else said, we should know if it's the final season beforehand. Please give One Tree Hill a season 9.

But more than that, it deals with a lot of very real issues out there. There have been two storylines on homosexuality over the years, and the Brooke and Julian adoption storyline is great! It's always entertaining while being serious, and a little dramatic at times ;)
Basically, OTH is amazing. Please keep it.
I started watching one tree hill around season 3, and immediately had to go back and watch all the seasons to catch up. It's a great show and I think it deserves to be on if not for a long time then atleast one more season. Like others have said it's not the same without Peyton & Lucas, but Mark and the cast have really made it into a great show and it wasn't major bump when Leyton wasn't coming back, they all made it smooth and not disappointing. The newer cast is great and easy to get use to. OTH has made changes along the way but never left the fans being disappointed or clueless as to what was going on. Also they've hit home with a lot of their topics for the show, like depression (real depression, not just Im sad okay now Im happy!), friends, boyfriends, breakups, mom and daughter relationships, and even son and mom relationships when it comes to Lucas & his mom. Keep this going!
I recently started watching one tree hill and i started with season 1 and worked my up to the 8th season. from the middle of season 1 that is all i could think about, i had to come home from school everyday to watch the show. i care more about the drama on the show then i did in my own group of friends. i feel like i was a part of their world. i cried like a baby when keith died, when haley got hit by a car, and when karen almost died. this show means the world to me. i am obsessed with nathan and haley and i would love to see more and more INTENSE episodes with them. i do agree that the show isnt the same without peyton and lucas but its still very good. but if it is going to end i would like it to end with a proper season..bring the old crew back...oth deserves that!
i started watching one tree hill for three episodes in 2006. i turned on the tv and there was a girl standing on a bridge yelling "Nathan!" this was my first experience with one tree hill. it was the episode following their vowel renewals and i was completely sucked in. then college classes started and i forgot about one tree hill. a couple of years later, my new roommates were devout watchers and i went out and bought seasons 1-4 and started watching season 6 with my roommates regularly. I moved out but kept watching seasons 7 and 8. i now own 1-6 and though during/after season 7 i was worried the show wouldn't go on, by the time season 8 came to a close, i was even more worried that the show wouldn't go on to a 9th season.
every day i run across someone who is as big a fan of one tree hill as i am. i am a 26 year old college graduate who has gone back to school and i watch this show, from beginning to present over and over. i feel the characters are my friends and family and even though it was sad and confusing (and still is confusing to the story line...) that Lucas and Peyton left, i don't think people are watching just waiting for them to come back. people care about brooke and julian, nathan and haley's new baby, quinn and clay's growing relationship and milly, mouth, mia, chase and so on.
the point is that the show needs to keep going for the devout outsiders looking in on tree hill, nc. from chapel hill, nc to seattle, wa and all in between. i've been watching religiously since 2008 and i am speaking out for me and all of the fans new and especially old--the ones that started watching from the pilot when these kids were just strangers.
one tree hill helps me get through a lot of the hard things ive been through in my life and the first 8 seasons will be there to help me over and over again but without a 9th season there will always be the lingering question...what happens/ed? the show must come to an end at some point, but it's too soon. we as fans are ready to go on with the show, so let the show go on...

OTH fans are some of the most loyal people. Thats why this show has made it for 8 seasons. I think it deserves to go on as long as the ratings stay where they are. The fans are watching. And pleading for more!!!! The show is solid. It isn't a supernatural show, its not a high school based show (and even when it was, Mark Schwan was smart enough to know it couldnt continue through college). It is simply good TV. It's good drama, clean drama (most of the time lol) And the thing I love most about it is that its touched on some pretty heavy topics (ie depression, school shootins, abortion and how it affects you). I believe the show deserves to go on. GIVE US MOREEEE

And like Katie said, they SHOULD have 200 episodes. Mark Schwahn deserves 200! They all do! A 22-episode season would only total to 196. And if season 6 got 24 episodes, season 9 deserves 26 episodes to give the show a total of 200!
It's a show that has done the CW so much, and it's only fair to give them 200 episodes and a proper ending.
I agree with every1 OTH needs to be on for at least 1 more season to give the cast and the fans a proper send off especially since the way they ended season 6 with Peyton, Lucas and Little Sawyer the fans deserve 1 more season there are way too many things going on in the show for it to end this way. I have watched the show from the beginning and I know I would be a disappointed fan if they just ended it at Season 8 with no real ending

My girlfriend loves this show! She recently got me into watching it, and I gotta say it deserves 200 episodes. It's SUCH an AMAZING show! Do it for all the crew and cast's hard work. Make it a big one too.
One Tree Hill is the best thing that ever happened to television, and the CW does not give it enough recognition for all of it's accomplishments. One Tree Hill deserves one final season. Announced as a final season right away with amazing tragedy, heart-break, and love. And with new promotional photo-shoot cast pics! One Tree Hill deserves the best. The best = an amazing ninth/final season and 200 episodes!
We realize OTH has to end at some point, but the fans deserve a ninth season for a proper send off. It can't end with all the story lines that are going on right now.

Coming from a huge OTH fan.. i say keep it for one more season just so it could have a decent ending.. it doesn't have to be a long season just like season 5, i think 1 episode isn't enough to end a show that has been on for 8 years now.. Just 1 more to say goodbye!
