The Eastern Paranormal Investigation Center, or EPIC, is a group founded and formed to help individuals, families or businesses who believe they may be experiencing paranormal activity. Based on Staten Island, New York, but servicing all of New York City and the surrounding areas including Upstate NY, New Jersey, Long Island and Connecticut, EPIC Paranormal is made up of like-minded individuals who use a scientific approach and methodology in searching for possible evidence.

My house is REALLY haunted - but not in a bad way. Things just walk around and sing. On the few occassions I am left at home on my own, I always sit down on the couch and watch TV, because that is where I feel safest. I always hear someone sit down on the couch across from me and start humming and speaking softly in French, which is what my grandmother spoke. It is a very comforting feeling, because they do not mean any harm, and are simply there, so why should I be scared of them? They are all friendly, and I am glad they are there. It is nice to have someone who is always around.
NOTE: We think it is my grandmother, but we are not sure. You can always smell perfume (Just like what she wore) but you can never see anything.
My moms home had residual hauntings, and it may sound weird, but I believe it was my residual ...whatever. my dad built the house and we were the only occupants for 40+ years. I had high emotions growing up. It was a tense atmosphere. When I went for visits as an adult, I would hear running down the long hallway. Many times I went into the hall to see who was there only to find )I was alone in the house. Took me a while to realize it stopped at my bedroom. As an emotional teen, I would run for the safety of my bedroom. Therefore I believe the haunting is ME!
