OK, I listened to every single performance above.
My favorites are: Clay, Melinda Doolittle, Kris Allen, Lambert (even though I don't like the screaming at the end) & the very best for me is David Archuleta.
There are some awesome talents here.

No question that David's performance was fantastic. Gave me chills then; gives me chills now. I can't understand this kid who can sing with such emotion is only 20, or is it 21 now? I still think David is one of the greatest talents to come out of AI. Who knows? This season is turning out pretty good, too. Can't wait to hear who wins. Actually hoping for Pia Toscano. Phenomenal!

Kris Allen and David A are by far the best but Kris was in the moment when he sang "Ain't No Sunshine" from somewhere deep with in his soul . made me melt .

Kay- You should look up your facts before you ask silly questions like "where are they now"?!!! I am not a fan of Adam but he is doing quite well for himself, as for Clay he is doing way better then most. David Archuleta is doing great 3 ablums and a best selling book in 3 years ain't too shabby. Just because you don't hear them on radio as much as (all the crap you do hear on radio) doesn't mean they are has beens. I'll never understand the crap they play on radio verses the music put out by some of these REAL artist....

Adam Lambert is the biggest creep ever!! In fact most of these on this list are has beens.. Where are they now? Do they have any awards? Are they even still singing.
Gay Clay is a has been too. Maybe he and Adam are together raising da babe.

David Archuleta's SMM is the best! By far the best male voice to come out of idol. Clay is right there too but my vote goes to David. He puts so much emotion into everything he sings.

Wow! Adam is by FAR the best! The only ones close are Carrie Underwood and Kelly Clarkson. I can`t believe you didn`t pick a better performance though. This one is very good,but 'Mad World' or 'A Change is Gonna Come' were out of this world!!! None of the idols even come close!

wut? who's creep? Adam Lambert is the worst creep in the entire Idol. That talentless 30 year old can't write, can't play any instruments, can't dance, can't produce, is a shame for Idol. gross!
