I cannot drink green Kool-Aid because the last time I had it as a child was the night I had a sore throat. I spent the next day going from DR. to specialist to the emergengy room and then spent a week in the hospital with an abcess on my tonsil.

I can't stand to eat anything "slimy" such as mushrooms, fish, or tomatoes. I'm not sure why, but it turns my stomach and I just can't do it.

When I was about 9, my mother introduced me to tapioca and I loved it. I used to have a cup of it every day, until one day my father sees me eating it.
"Ah! Fish eyes!"
Immediately my stomach went south. I spit out what was in my mouth and nearly gagged at the fact I still had it in my stomach.
Which is strange, because I will and can just about anything. Especially when dared.
But for some reason I still cannot stand tapioca. And my mother has still never forgiven my father for it.
