My Grandpop Splatman used to say: "It's wise not to be too rigid in our thinking." Why do we have to define it one way or the other? Comic or Cartoon, or whatever......Seems to me that just by labeling and cataloguing (sp.?) stuff, we run the risk of diminishing them. It is what it is....and a lot of fun. (It reminded me of how my dog used to react when I walked him around the L.A. Equestrian Center and I would pause to pet a horse. He went ballistic! Jealousy?....) and why not call it a 'movie'? Note the cross-cutting sequence between horse and dog...Are movie "storyboards" not cartoons or comics.....? Regardless...I like your website...keep up the good work!
