Managing technology and relationships

I am blissfully immersed in technology and don't believe it negatively impacts my life and/or relationships
I find it distracts me and has negatively impacted my life and/or relationships however not enough to make a change
I am ready to change my habits to restore a sense of balance however I have been unable to come up with an effective strategy
I have a strategy in place that allows me to enjoy and manage both technology and my relationships

I keep technology in it's place...on my desk and not on my person. While I have a cell phone it does nothing more than keep me available to the rest of the world should the world need me (and if it does...we're doomed). I do not have a pocket full of games. I spend time at my desktop computers both at home and in the office as needed and when I am away from them I am completely focused on the person (or people) I am with and what I have to or want to do. The world only moves faster if we let it and this is how I keep my world spinning at a managable pace.
