How Did Amazon Web Services Handle its Worst Ever Disruption?
AWS acted responsibly. They now need to explain in detail what happened, the bugs they discovered and what they will do so it doesn't happen again.
There is no good way to handle these kinds of problems.
AWS showed a lack of respect for its customers. It put customers in a poor light as they could not fully explain the problem to their own communities.
AWS is in a tough place. They have to be careful what they say.
AWS kept too quiet. Their lack of communication reflected poorly on them.
