I used to be very proud to work for the DOD, supporting the military and our country. My supervisor offered support and training, and I knew I was very appreciated. I worked hard and grew my career.
Lately the wolves have come knocking at the door. The wolves have lost their unsecure, overpaid private sector careers and feel as though they are entitaled to our careers. I could understand the lack of a COLA for two years, but I think it is unfair that federal employees are expected to accept a pay freeze for five years, be trashed in the media, and have to worry that our other retirement and health benefits will be reduced or eliminated.
