If Obama said it was a distraction before (in 2010), why didn't he release it then? Also, why shouldn't he be subject to full disclosure like those before him? And, when I have been hired for a job in the US, I've had to produce documentation that I'm a US citizen because there are laws to follow, why shouldn't he have to do the same!! It's called an I-9 form!

If Obama can produce this document now,why couldn't He have produced it at the beginning of his term. He has had plenty of time to have someone forge this document. If this document really existed it would have saved the taxpayers a lot of money. Why does he travel all over the world for these useless interviews. This one with Oprah is costing the taxpayers half a million dollars. That money would be better spent in solving problems of our country,Oprah has the money to fly her crew to DC to tape her show. When you see Obama laughing about this birth certificate issue,he's not laughing about that, he's laughing at the American people because he knows he has really put one over on the USA. Our President does not bow to the leader of another country,he is not a true american. Obama has tripled our national debt in two years. Obama is breaking the US. America needs to wake up and see what this jerk is doing to our country!!

If is really is a citizen he would have released it in the beginning the election. The crook has had plenty of time to fraudulently produce one. He is nothing but a crook with help from others now! I didn't vote for him the first time and will not the second time either. He should be impeached!

I don't think that this should have been the issue that it has grown into. Shouldn't the American people be addressing more pressing issues instead of doubting our commander and chief? I'm an Obama supporter and never doubted that he was an American. Releasing his birth certificate only heightens my respect for him.
