I'm entertained by singers who can sing well. In fact, I don't even have to look at them at all.
I can simply listen to them sing while I'm doing other things. That's why the show is called "The Voice", rather than "The Head" or "The Hair". They could be the ugliest person on the planet, but if I'm just listening to them rather than looking at them, then it doesn't matter. On second thought, even if somebody actually were ugly, I could still be entertained by them, because their looks wouldn't bother me one bit.

Andrew - I'm another one of those women who you've offended with your comments. I'm bald for life due to Alopecia Areata. I'd sincerely like you to answer these questions:

Do you feel the same way about MALE singers or actors who shave their heads?

Do you honestly think they shouldn't perform bald unless they've lost all their hair due to chemo or a disease?

Would you pay money to see a baldheaded man sing "just because he wants to" be bald?

WHAT ABOUT CEE LO GREEN? Is he on chemo or does he shave his head? Would you pay to hear him sing?

Think about it. Not too many years ago, bald men were ashamed and hid their baldness. Now you see them everywhere, and they're seen as sexy. Can you say "double standard"?

    Andrew,

Its exactly men like you and your small opinions that make young children with afflictions, feel less than perfect. How dare you! I'm guessing thats not the only small thing about you, since you obviously have a need to cut someone down so easily. Not surprised at all that you didnt mention a thing about their singing talents. Unbelievable!!!!

Hi there! I'm one of those "baldheaded" ladies you find so distracting!

I've read your thoughts and processed - you stated that you can understand if someone doesn't have hair as a result of chemotherapy. I've never had a single chemo treatment but I also didn't shave my head by choice. Does this mean if I were an incredible singer that I should be denied the right to perform? I'm truly hurt and offended that you even have the nerve to complain about something so petty. Does hair really mean that much to you? REALLY?!

What you find to be unattractive or "distracting" as you so kindly put it, others may find to be gorgeous or even (gasp!) inspiring. Maybe you should try to think about WHY those women are "baldheaded" instead of only worrying about your own selfish opinion.

By the way, there are TONS of people with medical issues out there whom you've offended. Honestly, that's the only way I even encountered this filth.

So on that note, best of luck to you and try to be a little more open minded next time.

I mentioned in the article that I could understand if the women had a medical reason for singing baldheaded. I just wouldn't pay money to see a baldheaded women who sings baldheaded because they want to.

I am, but I'm not entertained by fat old men.

I'm sorry I accidentally stumbled onto your site... FYI: some people have genetic/immune/other medical disorders that cause their hair to fall out. Pretty devastating, especially for women. I hope none of them read your comments.
