Do you think the seven days law in Florida is reasonable?

I think that the law is a bit unreasonable. I think that if the biological parents feel that they cannot take care of the child, they should be able to take the child and give it up for hopes of a better life. But, I don't agree that it should be anonymous. There could be complications later in that childs life that could require them to be able to find out who their parents are. It could be for some health reason, something genetic, rare diseases, etc.. And when the child is given up with absolutely no record at all to connect them to their biological parents, that leaves them at a severe disadvantage. So, if the child is given up and records are sealed, at least there is some way of tracing back if absolutely necessary, it will not be an impossibility. Sometimes the only way to save someone is through a biological family member.

That is why I think, some trace should exist.
