BICE singing IN A DREAM, in front of Clive Davis, NO BAND - Industrial size balls and a fantastic performance. Will never be equaled.

If a capella singing is so easy and everyday for singers to pull off, how come Bo is the only who's even tried it on idol in 10 years?

My test is what performance do I not have to even click on to remember. As soon as I saw Blake's song on the poll, I could remember watching it and being blown away. I had to click on Bo's and, even watching it again, it didn't register. Then I checked out to see if my memory of Blake's was right. Sure enough, that was one heck of a performance! This isn't about who's the best singer, or most successful, but which performace you think is the best. That's subjective, so I'm not saying those who disagree with me are wrong. But in my opinion, this round goes to Blake.

A Capella singing always sounds great when done by someone with an excellent voice. It may have been new and different to the Idol world but as singing goes it's done all the time. As cool and as great as Bo's performance was I think it may be the most over rated Idol moments. The way that Blake twisted and turned that song upside down and didn't miss a note was impressive.

What's with "In a Dream" fans shoving this down peoples' throats? If it wins, great, but telling everyone that this is no contest-- obviously 49% of people disagree with you. You're power-voting and it's still only up by 2%.

Bice fans please VOTE! ITs getting down to the wire. I love Blake, but Bo had IMO the best performance ever on Idol.

Bo Bice's In a Dream was one of the two greatest performances in Idol's history. The only one I can put in its league is A. Lambert's Mad World.

That's not to say I didn't love Blake Lewis' You Give Love a Bad Name but there's just no comparing the two. Bo Bice is hands down the winner.

Blake Lewis deserves to win this. There are MANY singers who can do acapella singing wonderfully but there is only one person to ever set foot on the American Idol stage who can beat-box to Bon Jovi and do it as good as the original (in my opinion better but that may be saying a little much). He was the man who turned American Idol from a karaoke show to one where artist were allowed to "make the song their own" and paved the way for the likes of David Cook, Adam Lambert, and Kris Allen.

in what universe does blake (weak voice) lewis beat bo bice?

  • chris8677 - 13 years ago

What?!!! How could Blake be beating Bo?! Bo's "In a Dream" was IMHO one of the absolute best performances on Idol. Love, love, love it. Bo is a far superior singer too.

Bo Bice's a capella "In A Dream" was one of the all-time greatest performances on the show. Blake's song was very good, but Bo's was chill-worthy.

This is going to be a great contest! Two of the greatest Idol gimmicks-- song rearrangements and acapella singing-- battling it out.
