You should keep in mind that MS has invested at least $240m stake in Facebook, and already has worked to closely with them to bring Facebook integration in their Bing search in ways Google cannot. Also note that skype will essentially remain untouched from top management all the way down to simply form a new division at MS, where they will have more resources to develop and integrate skype into other MS products, like office, xbox, and WP7. If anything, we should eventually see video chat somehow coming to facebook unless fb doesn't decide to host it themselves, which would require a larger investment in servers and infrastructure before they can do that.
