I think there's a huge difference between polygamy in a "cult" situation and polygamy in the case of the Brown's. I've been married to 1 husband for 15 years and happily. This is my choice. He is Legally married to one woman. The other wives have "chosen" this lifestyle through their faith. As far as whether or not each and every person in the family is blissfully happy every second of every day or that none ever suffer from decisions that are made...I'm sorry!!! I've yet to know a family that did not have problems, down times, or not suffered for decisions that were made for whatever reason. How is their family any different? There's also a lot of scrutiny about having their show and wanting to be a TV STAR...If someone offered you a TV deal would take it? probably. Come on...if you pray, pray for them as would anyone else. If you don't pray, then don't pray for them and don't watch their show. Simple as that. Blessings.
Polygamy is illegal because it is not a good deal for women and children. The kids don't have a choice. The kids are scared. There is no way the wives can't be jealous. I can't stand when Robyn takes over and explains what is going on. I would have to say something. I thought it was sick watching Kody and Robyn on their honeymoon. The kids deserve better. Much better!!!!!

I support polygamy as a lifestyle choice but the legal repercussions would be financially devastating to a lot of people.

I have been praying for the Brown's family alot...I support them 100 percent, they are proving to the world this religion can be a good one...this family is not being forced, yeah they had to move but that was to keep the family safe...I agree that this should be called something different other than polygamists...these people are good people, and it seems that kody loves each of his wives and all of his children...kody has alot on his shoulders...yeah there has been bad things happen with other polygamists groups but that doesn't mean this family is that way...you can clearly see that the Browns have different views...

While I feel for the Brown family, polygamy is illegal and with good reason. God said one man one women. I know through out biblical history that wasnt the case,.. and look at what happened to them. However in the case of the Browns I do wish them the best. The way they are living their lives are not hurting anyone. There are however many polygamists out there that dont share the same family values like the Browns do and that is why it must remain illegal. Its not for the odd few.. its for the fundamentals that take it just that one step further.

Brown Polygamy Family!
From all the info I have looked up seen and listened to aswell as seeing the Brown Family on Tv! I have noticed a huge difference between the Brown Family and other's that are Polygamy Families.
There is Doc's on Doc's on this kind of life style that is forced on your love ones as well as married off to old gross men wanting 100 wives or more! being mind controlled Phyically and mentally is the way of life to them.
freedom is having that right to choose who you want to be with and how you want to live in life.
You only live once in this world and from what I understand in life knowing now that the Brown Family is 100% not like the other Polygamy families who live in fear everyday! The Brown Polygamy Family should be allowed to live there life the way they are now! to the polygamy lifestyle the Brown's live should be legal and should be named something different to totally sep them from the wrong way of living as a bad polygamy Family.
There has not be any harm to anyone, along with no danger! I agree that the Brown's should be allowed to live free and happy as they choose :)
