I can understand people not shipping Huddy but I cannot understand not enjoying the wonderful chemistry Hugh and Lisa had as House and Cuddy. I admit the writers did a horrific job with the Huddy relationship and I wish the had left it alone but I think House show without Cuddy will be missing a lot. Cuddy was the only one who could control him. I cannot imagine how they will manage her absence next season. I'm not sure if I want to know...

Of course the show is called [H]ouse, but House without other characters isn't interesting. (this is available for all other shows!). And Cuddy and House has a wonderful chemistry!
It's like the Xfiles, back then, Scully without Mulder for the last 2 seasons were boring, even great actors were added to the show. It's just my opinion.

Of course I'm surprised and unhappy to hear the news that Edelstein is not returning. But as mentioned previously, the program is indeed about House, not the varying satellites that circle his madness.
Then again, I was a fan of Sherlock Holmes looooong before this incredible version showed up seven years ago - so my mind has always been fixated on the concept that he would never be able to settle down with any woman.
Plus there are several candidates that have popped up over the years who could, in theory, replace her in House's world. Most notably Stacy (Sela Ward) his ex-wife. There's also Lydia (Franka Potente) who clearly loved him, but could not leave her family. That right there is a near perfect fit - since she too had a young child.
And since this is a fictional world - the possibilities, if chosen correctly, are endless.
