Dyson Animal 4yrs old,has been sent out 3 times for repair,plus worked on at home. Totally overrated! My$ 100.00 Hoover has never needed repair and continues to run well.

I have two vacuum sweepers, actually. One is an upright Sebo, it's great at getting the edges and excellent on the door mats, etc., adequate on the floors. (no carpet, just wood or tile floors). The other one is a Meile, the one for wood floors. Both have excellent filters, very necessary because the whole family is allergic to dust.

I have a Beam central vac and love it, this is the 2nd unit we have owned and the first is still going strong. We put the older one out into our shop, the new unit in the house is much quieter and has a much stronger motor and suction. Would never be without the central vac!

I have a Dyson Animal and it is the best vacuum I've ever used or had, including Rainbow and Electrolux.

I have a Dyson and it would be the greatest vacuum cleaner in the world if I didn't have to get my hands into the dirt to get it all out of the canister.
