I think Adam Lambert is the best that has ever been on American Idol and not sure anyone can beat him. But I vote for Lauren and Scotty, they are both equally good.

The whole "Two David's" thing season 7 will always be my favorite. You had to be there to know what I mean.
Season 7...ahhhh...(fond memories!)...they'll never top it!

David and David in the last season that was not strangely weird and anticlimactic. Adam is a musical comedy singer far outpaced by many in theatre, but expertly promoted beyond anything seen before. Every favor that could be called in must have been called in to insure his modest success. Oh well, that is the music biz. But the David and David contest was pure mythic magic with the sexy, messy, human, brave artist David Cook triumphing. Amazing. But David Archuleta was a singer of great purity and beauty, hugely talented for someone so young. Between the two of them there were so many "moments", one could hardly name them all. Best season ever.

Are you one of those delusional Adam fans who would never get attention from Adam because he stares at your pretty boyfriend standing by you? Adam is the oldest, talentless 30 year old andro singer who is a follower of GaGa with no creative ability. Serious rockers laugh at him and serious musicians don't respect his musicality. If he's that musically talented, he could have gotten pretty deep in the theater business before idol since he started early in the biz. Never got any leading roles, nor written songs by himself. He is not a musician but a celebrity who thrills to be in gossip columns. Whenever he throws gay crushes to pretty male celebrities, bad chills spread all over. Barf.
Have to say Adam and Kris. Totally different artists, both with strong fan bases. Adam IMHO is the greatest artist to ever grace the Idol stage, so multi-talented and electric. Kris appealed to the more conservative, laid back audience and has a pleasing voice. Apples and oranges, but have to say it was the best season for me. Also loved Allison and thought she brought a lot to the show that had become a little bland and predictable. I also loved the comraderie among Adam and Kris. There was an obvious like and respect between them even tho' they were very different personalities. I enjoyed seeing them together.

Melissa, I had the same thought as you. For example, I like Kelly but Justin was no competition. Not a fan of Carrie, but I picked her and Bo because that was going to be a real challenge.
Now, who is seriously voting for Scotty and Lauren? Are any of them over the age of 14?

I think people are too busy voting for one of the two contestants, and that's how Adam Lambert is the best. I personally voted for Carrie vs. Bo, because I thought they were equally talented, as opposed to Kris and Adam, one of whom I think has much more talent that the other.
