    Dispite LSU's disappointing finish, they're clearly one of the best 64 teams in the country... and afterall, that's the REAL point of the tournament, isn't it? If the NCAA selection committee needs more of a reason than this, consider the potential marketing value that would be generated if the Tigers manage to fight their way through the brackets and all the way to Omaha. That story could provide the 2011 CWS with the boost it needs to drown out the cries of the college baseball purists who continue to mourn the loss of Rosenblatt. LSU's return to Omaha for the inaugural season of TD Ameritrade Park can't be anything but good for the NCAA. As a local, I can tell you that the city lights up when the Bayou Boys and their amazing fans pull into town. It's all upside for the NCAA by taking a chance on LSU.
