I know for a fact I would not work in a field or do lawn care, I am glad the Mexicans are here! We hired a company to landscape our property they were all mexicans and did an excellant job. They spoke no English, but were very friendly and attentive. I see no harm in the illegals being here in florida.

The illegal mexicans here is florida's back-bone, they are the ones that pick ur veggies and your oranges! Without them where would florida be? Americans won't pick oranges or onions or even cut grass for 12 hrs aday in the sun!!! Also there is bad in every race and color! Just pick up ur local newspaper and read how many people got busted selling drugs right here in madison! Was there any mexicans or illegals? NO!!! They are busy working hard for lower than minimum wages! So FloridaSunshine, do your research in this town read your newspapers, for real we are not a threat to you or this state.

There is a difference between LEGAL and ILLEGAL. An illegal Alien is breaking our current laws, which should be enforced just like any other law. The illegal Alien KNOWS they are breaking the law before they stepped foot in this country and as soon as they do, becomes a criminal. Every state in our nation is burdened and their illegal alien population does not help the matter. If our Federal government is unwilling or incapable of enforcing our immigrations laws, then the States must do so. I would like to see the 14th Amendment revised so that children born here must have at least one American citizen as a parent before being considered an American. It is time that we have compassion for America and her citizens and fix our problems.

Before Madison county people vote on this, Think of any mexican or latino people u know, the people at ur local mexican restaurants, a pine straw worker, the people that cut your grass, the people that work the nurseries here and in lee, we are here in madison and we dont bother any one in this community. I am a latina waitress and i have had the pleasure of meeting most of this county including court officials, police officers, the judges, and all my friends i have made here! We also shop in your local stores every week, we get gas here, we are friendly people, we are here to make a better life for our self and our families. Please reconsider your vote madison residents, thanks so much, mexican princess.......

This country was built on the backs of immigrants. And maintained by those who were enslaved and disenfranchised. Truth be told , the immigrants who consider themselves entitled to claim this country as their own; terrorized and committed genocide on the true natives. As in Arizona, which is technically Mexico, the immigration laws will create an atmosphere of hate and decention. Thus we all lose. No matter the number of laws passed in this country to close our borders, karma will bring this country back to it's original owners. That would be the Native American Indians. The enlightened Anglos are now admitting they are the minority populous in this country. Why would they grant immmigration status to the people of the former USSR, who by the way hated us, into this country if that were not so. They needed more people of Anglo dissent for appearances. Still we rise, the truth cannot be hidden or altered and justice will be a meal served cold.
