Are you kidding? Bathroom breaks were the easiest way to get out of class back in my day. Absolutely.

Shouldn't we be more concerned with paying teachers more and hiring more security officials so a concern like this doesn't exist?

If it's that much of a problem, maybe a doctor's note would help. That much freedom is a little extreme.
