Why do you think unemployment jumped in May?

Can anyone seriously believe that unemployment rises because "it is easier to get government handouts"?
How many people turn away a job offering because "it is easier to get government handouts"?

I bet that very few people will turn away a job because"it is easier to get government handouts".

Conservatives claim that un-employment is high because people would rather try to get a government handout rather than accept a job being offered.

Like all other conservative claims, it is false, wrong and idiotic.

More young people, high school and college grads, entering the labor market with not enough hiring to balance that number.

Well, everyone is tsk-tsking about the bad number: 54k jobs; however, what is the REAL number? McDonalds hired 60K and the BIRTH DEATH MODEL ADDED OVER 200,000, so the real number was a whopping NEGATIVE. This is serious chicanery on the part of the Government.

Also, as the labor force decreases, the weekly unemployment number should also decrease: when we get down to ZERO employment, then it follows that weekly jobs lost will also be ZERO (and the White Houise can declare victory.)
