I am of the Christian faith and nondenominational. I was raised as a Southern Baptist and later decided I prefer the more charismatic church, however, I have always found the Mormon Church to be that of a caring and loving church. As for plural marriage, No it's not my choice to share a husband. On that same note I must say the judgement that has been passed towards the Browns is ridiculous. In this society we find people of many faiths, sexual orientation, dress, lifestyle, etc., and for the most part are at least tolerant of American's right to choose their lifestyle so long as they aren't hurting others. So I'd like to know how the Brown's are hurting any of us. I'd also like to say I find their family loving and supportive of each other. The majority of American families are dysfunctional in some way shape or form, some to great degrees and some to a lesser. The Brown's are no different, EXCEPT...they stick together and work through the obstacles that come along and continue to love each other fully. Because I'm not schooled on their faith I don't know where the plural comes in but I can say it was not uncommon for biblical men to have more than one wife and many children. So who are we to judge. And my final thought is if you don't like the Brown's...Don't watch the show. Blessings.

I LOVE THIS FAMILY!!! I AM IN A MONOGAMOUS MARRIAGE OF ALMOST 23 YEARS AND VERY HAPPY LIVING THIS WAY, BUT WE STILL HAVE OUR PROBLEMS. THERE WILL ALWAYS BE JEALOUSY. JUST BECAUSE THE WOMEN VOICE THEIR CONCERNS OR JEALOUSY DOESN'T MAKE IT DIFFERENT THAN MINE OR YOURS. THIS IS ONE OF THE MOST FUNCTIONING FAMILIES I HAVE SEEN IN A LONG TIME. THEY SEEM VERY DEDICATED, LOVING, EXCEPTING AND NON-JUDGMENTAL, ESPECIALLY THE WOMEN. I LOVE THE SISTER WIVES RELATIONSHIPS. I WORK IN AN OFFICE OF 8 WOMEN AND WE CAN'T GET ALONG FOR 5 MINUTES. IF THERE WAS REALLY TROUBLE IN THAT FAMILY, I'M SURE TLC WOULD BE SHOWING IT. IT WOULD MAKE FOR "GREAT" TV. THERE IS NO NAME CALLING, ARGUING, OR BASHING OF ONE ANOTHER. I HOPE THEY THRIVE IN THEIR NEW ENVIRONMENT!!! WHY WOULD ANYONE WANT ANYTHING DIFFERENT FOR A FAMILY???? JUST BECAUSE THEY ARE DIFFERENT FROM YOU????

Kody made a comment to Meri just before "marrying" Robin. Meri had commented she was jealous and how would he feel if she had more than one husband. Kody said he couldn't imagine sharing her with anyone. I guess he's one that believes in the old double standard... Kody wants his cake and eat it too, well, it's coming back to bite him in the butt. The more these women feel their independence the more they're going to go out on their own and enjoy it. The women will win and Kody is going to be the loser!!! Plural marriages has never worked for women, for man it's a way to "bed hop" and say it's legit!!!

Honestly, no one believed these wives when they said they were happy sharing one man - no woman in her right mind would put up with this craziness. Now the truth is out and and u can't put the cat back in the bag! Courage, wives, and move on!

Most of these women came from this environment. If a person grows up in this faith nine times out of ten it's what they will choose as an adult. Whether it's right or wrong depends on the individual. I personally thinks it's demeaning to women. This religious sect was thought up by a man. Having more wives which in turn would increase the number of children therefore increase the size of their members. It sounds like a lot of work and these women are jealous of each other naturally so. They are taught by the church to be selfless and over value their husband by believing that the world revolves around him and putting them on a pedestal. The women are revered to be the servants. When the men have more wives they are said to have a better place in the Kingdom of the lord.

How did he convince 4 intelligent women to become his wife/partner?He ain't the best looking thing out there!!Either they are all suffering from self esteem issues are they are brain washed.WHY would God give HIM multiple wives?????I think he uses them for his own gratification.They make more than him,so kick him to the curb.AND Robin,are you that desperate???Give me a break!!!He just knows your weak spot and plays on that!!!!Leave his dumb butt!!!Get a real life and not HIS!!!!!!!
