Can the new Parliament be more civil?

Yes. With a Conservative majority, the Tories won't need to shout to get their way.

No. With a Conservative majority, the other parties will want to shout louder to express their disagreement.

Yes. The new focus on civility will shame MPs into better behaviour.

I don't care. Civil or not, I just hope they get some work done.

Civil behaviour ranks way behind lying (Oda and Muskoka and countless others), money used to buy votes (Muskoka) misrepresenting and lying about the advice of the Civil Service (Census, jets, corporate tax cuts) etc. With this group Civil discourse will only mask the questionable behaviour of a group that seems to know no shame!
