I'm an OS junky. I love trying out all types and versions of OS, including The Windows versions, many Linux distros, and even Apple distros.
My personal all time favorites are...
1: Windows XP
2: Linux Mint
3: Windows 7
4: Ubuntu
I really appreciate all the work that goes into Ubuntu that then enables the existence of Mint.

I'm a newbie freshly arrived from Windows world.
I first switched to Ubuntu because of its populariy.
I've been fighting for almost one year to get an OS working "fine" (Java, flash, ATI drivers with dual screen, HD Videos....)
When I decided to give Mint a try... It all worked out of the box !!
Well... I stayed ! And it's a real pleasure to finally spend time on doing what I want to without stressing about getting it working first ;-)
Definitly the best Linux for Windows newbies (I also tried Fedora, Mandriva, Suse and a few other) ;-)
Windows sucks!!
Linux Mint! RULES!
