Is Alex Louden expecting that Pippa will "come to her senses" by September and return to him and live a life out of the public eye because he and his family don't like the spotlight? Won't work. Isn't going to happen. Pippa has moved to a different , if awkward, sphere as the sister of Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge and future Queen of England. George Percy sounds much more able to deal with publicity and he is the future Duke of Northumberland which if it all worked out and they fell in love would make Pippa a Duchess. A very wealthy one.
Pippa would be so out of place in the US it is impossible to imagine. The whole structure of social life is too different. Having a whole lot of money qualifies as 'class' in the US. Most Americans have no concept of the social structure of the UK. Pippa's base her entire life is British. Her entire family is there. The novelty of US style of life would wear off very quickly. She'd be a fish out of water in the US. Like putting herself into exile. Nothing against Americans but there is so much they just don't get about the rest of the world unless they are very well travelled and hopefully multilingual. They feel America is the best place in the world to live. God bless them that they feel that way about their country but it just isn't so. Most Americans don't know what goes on in the rest of the world.
