Is Lupe Being Critical Of the President To Promote His Album?

I think it's probably a bit of both. As a fan of Lupe from the beginning he's always been against "The Man" and has clearly established he believes America as a whole is terroristic (if that's even a word, wouldn't want to be vocabulacious) but I think that now he's publicly being called out for it and his opinion is being spread to the masses, he's milking it for what it's worth. It seems like he'll say whatever gets him publicity cause the nigga looked stupid on O'Reilly.

I'm not the biggest Lupe fan but as far as I can tell, he's always been against the grain. Black folks are just tripping cause it's a black dude dogging the first black president. I've heard Bush and Clinton called terrorists without much backlash. Most of the people that I come across who are upset about it aren't aware of the context. I can't see Lupe's statement pushing record sales because who runs to buy a record that spouts things they disagree with.....or maybe he's chasing that racist white money

For real, the only song I know by Lupe is that kick, push joint.
But, I do happen to bounce around the internet all the damn time.
How come I haven't seen anything else of controversy regarding his feelings on President Obama online?
Not saying it's not there. But, I sure the hell saw the comment about President Obama.
And isn't it peculiar that he made the statement not too long after an album dropped?
He didn't feel that way back in before the album?
    Just saying.
