My parents are Korean and from Hawaii which meant ALOT of Spam growing up. I can still taste the salty burn on my tongue from the Spam we had almost daily. I think they still prefer Spam fried rice over a Porterhouse.

Spiced Pork American - surely the worst ever US export. When I was a child in the UK you could buy spam fritters in the fish and chip shops - spam in batter deep fried in oil . The memory still sends shivers through my tastebuds.

Not much room for a person to vote who has had plenty of Spam in my life and will eat it on occasion...

SPAM is also very popular over here in S. Korea. Apparently the American G.I.'s introduced it to the locals during the Korean war and it stuck. SPAM seems much more expensive here than in the States and people give it as gifts during important holidays.

Whats new! We have been visiting my son and grand kids in Hawaii for 15 yrs and SPAM and eggs is common on other national fast food businesses.
