Sure we can all crap on them for the time shift during the week, but I doubt I'm the only one that will miss HDTV coverage. Since it WAS from a network, it was available over the air and on standard cable. Now we get more of espn - the worst video experience in sports. Postage stamp standard video, made even worse due to their sports ticker fetish.
To make ESPN suck less, you have to pay for ESPNHD from your cable company. If you like DVR'ing tennis, that is big bucks to upgrade your own system, or you're stuck renting a crap system from your cable company.
Maybe if ESPN isn't totally evil, they will do weekends in HDTV through ABC. We can only hope.....
