I like Marvel, and I think their villains are better than DC, like Venom, Dr. Doom...
But in contrast, Dc has many striking characters, as Batman, Brainiac, and Joker...

WOW! Just wow at the ignorance...I mean saying DC rides upon Batman's success constantly is somewhat true, but using it as a "villains" based argument is just stupid. Perhaps you're basing it off of TV shows etc. seeing as I always see it followed with statements like "OOOH! VENOM!" or "X-Men has amazing villains...like...Magneto" etc. (No offense to Venom or Venom fans...though he tends to suck these days with redundancy...and pretty much for the past several years since probably Carnage's introduction, lol. And Magento does rock, so do a number of X-Men villains, but still.)
The problem is with your initial statement though: "DC depends too much on *MARKETING* Batman". Read a goshdarn comic then...instead of stating this obvious fact, and then stating DC villains outside of Batman suck......why?!?! Why do they all else suck outside of Bats? Probably because you've never seen them outside of a comic book besides some of the Supes villains mentioned...and honestly there's alot better DC villains outside of Superman's gallery! By far! (Heck Darkseid isn't even technically a Supes villain)
Do I think DC takes the win? Honestly, probably not...but I'd go as far as saying The Flash's rogue gallery beats out the X-Mens, as one example.
I love Marvel but DC has better villains to be honest. And I don't think it should be close either.
I have to say that DC has the better villains because I am going with quality over quantity. While Marvel has more good villains, they have no anywhere close to someone like Joker. They also have Darksied, Lex Luther, Brainiac and Deathstroke.
DC hands down, Lex Luthor by himself owns any Marvel villian. He is the smartest man in the world for a reason. DC tends to be more for adults where as Marvel is aimed for kids imo. Hell even forbes has said that in the past
It's harder for me to really comment on villains because often times they are always ridiculously overpowered (Doomsday or Galactus anyone)? It's hard to "like" a villain and compare them the same way I do heroes. Compared to the heroes, the villains usually come from alternate realities, other universes or even Hell and usually completely overpower the hero. So in short, I'll just say Venom. He's my favorite and he's my favorite because Spiderman is my favorite hero and they are so much alike in addition to the fact that he looks cool.
........Not sure what they're asking...In terms of which are my favorite, DC has a majority of my favorite all time villians. If they're asking who'd win in a fight between villians? Marvel villians would rip the hell outta DC. Magneto Could smite a majority of the DC villians. Apocolypse can wipe the floor with all but maybe 3 and Galatus....come on...he's a Galactic force of nature. like Earthquakes and Tornadoes, he just happens when and where he wants and there's nothing you can do but wait for him to pass and pray you survive....like......Come on now...just..........yea lol Marvel
Magneto and Lex Luther are my top villains...a lot of depth to their character.
I gotta go with Marvel but DC still has some amazing villians, especially Darkside
@kendell only in Batman are there GREAT villains.. Marvel has the best, DC counts to much on Batman for success. I LOVE BOTH DC AND MARVEL NO MATTER WHAT.
I agree with Xavier in the fact that Batman has the best rogue gallery. No one knows/cares about any of the villains of Wonder Woman, Flash, etc. The only other three that are good are Darkseid, Brainiac, and Luthor. Marvel however has a great rogue gallery for Spiderman, X-men and many other high mentions like Doom and etc.

Its a shame that the DC list is represented only by Bats and Supes villains...and Sinestro. The Flash's rogue gallery is very lovable...DC has some GREAT villains outside of Batman if you look for them. Though I'm still not sure DC deserves the point...there are some fine DC villains out there.
I'd have to agree with Xavier. Batman probably has THE best villains of them all, but Marvel in general has more than DC. If we were comparing Batman and Spiderman rogues, it'd probably be just as close, but Batman would definitely win.
Bats has the best rogues gallery EVER, but the rest of DC's villians...yeah, they suck.
Sadly Batman can't hold up the entire team against Marvel's rogues. DC needs to dig their villains up out of the 1960's.
