The decision to endorse President Obama early is a very clever one. I am in education system for 6 years. President Obama shares the vision of all educators throughout Florida and the US. The Republicans clearly do not care about teachers. Not only has Governor Rick Scott taken respect out of the noble teaching profession, he also made hardworking educators contribute 3% of their pretaxed earnings to retirement. That means 3% less in resources teachers can purchase and 3% decrease in food on our tables for our families. With this in mind, I will support President Obama, who is a powerful leader and an education advocate.

It does no good having a President who just "Talks" about Education when you have Governors like Rick Scott cutting billions, yes, Billions from education here in Florida. They should have waited to back someone who has an overall plan to improve education and is willing to stand behind their talk.
