Shame about Kate I thought she fitted in well , I was never that fond of Zoe she did tend to spend most of her time moaning about been single .I do miss Jane Macdonald she was very quick witted and good fun as for J.S.P. I can't stand her she makes my Stomach ulcer burn even more than normal .

I agree with all that Shelagh said. Also, no-one has mentioned Denise Welch, who is apalling. Kate Thornton is a jewel, and has been treated shamefully by the producers.

Why on earth would Loose Women get rid of Kate Thornton she is excellent as a presenter if there has to be a shake up I am all for Zoe Tyler going and Janet Street Porter wouldn't be missed as wouldn't Sherrie Hewson with her childish antics and I also wouldn't miss Silly Black and her false laugh and if its true that Carol Vorderman is the new presenter well Bye Bye from me

Kate is a bit on the boring side so I won't miss her. Zoe just gets on my nerves and never stops going on about her lack of a bloke. Yawn. The others are great. Carol is opinionated but obviously intelligent, she always grabs my attention and it is her that makes the show for me. They were wise enou to get ris of Jackie Brambles - she bored me to death with her constant remarks about how hard it is to be a mum. Did she think she was the first to have kids? It can only be a good thing to get rid of the dead wood.

Utter shambles getting rid of Kate Thornton and even Zoe. They, in my opinion, have been made spapegoats for a failing show. In my view around about the beginnng of the year 2011 the Show became very smutty and crude and people started turning off. Sack the producers if anybody. Im a hugh Loose Women fan but god its getting so boring with tales of drunken escapades and who went to bed at what time. Kate was good at discussions - so much better than Andrea who is always trying to be so funny and pulling daft faces. I dont watch so much now. No comment on Sheri Hewson.
I will be sad to see Kate go. She was a still fresh and had much to offer. I liked Zoe as she always eyed up the other women to see what they were wearing by giving sidelong glances when they were talking. Get rid of Cilla she is past her sell by date although I still like her from her past performances. The progaramme was getting a bit stale as I started to lose interest. I think it was because the presenters said the same thing about their personal life over and over and over again.

I was totally shocked today to discover that Kate is being axed! I think she is an excellent presenter very capable, confident and current with that bit of feistiness. She really doesn't deserve this, as she didn't deserve to be sacked from x factor. She has had a tough year and now this! Shame on you bosses!!

I cannot believe Kate has been axed,she is a great presenter,i would switch on to see her presenting the show more than i would Andrea,and definatley not be watching if Carole Voderman takes over,cant stand her.

Kate is a great asset to the show and should not be let go and as for replacing her with Carole Vorderman, well I for one will not tune in when she is fronting the show!

Am so pleased Kate is on her way out, so rude especially to Lynda today, and she talks so fast and splutters her way through the program, and is always fluffing her lines, not professional at all.

Been wanting Kate to go for a while now as said by others she talks people down when she has an opinion, it's her way or no way. Yes it's her job as presenter to keep control but when she has a point to make she does it in an aggressive way and the others can't reply. All the others are fine including Janet Street Porter they all get on your nerves sometimes but thats the same in life with people isn't it, you can't love everyone all of the time. Agree with Sharon's comment about CILLA don't have her back always full of herself me me me and all her well known friends. Used to watch Loose Women every day, I work from home and took a break when it was on too watch, haven't bothered with it for a while now. Will be interesting to see if I watch in the autumn as I'm not too keen on Carol Vordeman.

I enjoy Loose Women and agree that the choice of panelists is not always great, I'm not keen on (dare I say it!) CILLA, so full of self and such a name dropper! I quite like Janet and the rest who are so familiar to us all now. I am always pleased when Kate Thornton is presenting the show and feel she has a lot to offer with having a young son and being a single mum.I find her amusing with her obsession with cleaning and finding a man and she can take the Mickey out of herself. So sad to see her go.

I too have watched LW from day one. Kate is a wonderful presenter and handles the other self opinioned panelists very well. Although I like Andrea, I feel Kate is the better presenter.

Kate is too full of her own opinions and talks the others down. Carol is full of her own opinions as well but delivers them in a lovely style. With Kate,it's her opinion only that matters...in her head! She's a female Matthew wright who is beyond charmless

I see LW occasionally and have always enjoyed Kate Thornton. Can't see how she could have caused such a drop in viewers. Tend to agree about JSP - it's not her kind of show. Check the stats again guys and put two and two together!

Kate Thornton is one of the best presenters we have. I fail to understand why she has been axed from the show. I have watched Loose Women from day one and enjoy it immensely. Sometimes the choice of women is not so good. . . . for instance who invited the awful Janet Street Porter to be a Loose Woman ? Have the ratings dropped since she's been on ?
