I too would enjoy a cooking show for diabetics...I drool over so many of the Food Network shows, however should also be selective about the ones I try. Bring on a unique and TASTY diabetic cooking show ! ! !

Orchid's time was up, even though she did a good job.
It's a relief to see Penny GO AWAY. How she lasted this long is beyond me. That cat snarl was the last straw.
Love Vegas. He's perfectly suited for the next Food Network STAR.
Why pretty boy is still in first place, is a mystery. Just too immature, not at all funny, and his sandwich point of view, is going no where. AND his 'balls' idea stunk big time. He tries to be funny and it back fires every single time.
Speaking of time...it's time for him to GO.

I agree completely with everyone else on Penny. I cannot believe she stayed on as long as she did. I only recently got into Foodnetwork Star, after watching last season. I loved the shared love among all the previous contestants. I felt like they were a team, not a bunch of backstabbers , ala Penny. I am really disappointed with this season's contestants. I feel like the producers went way too "reality tv drama". I might be among the minority here, but that is the whole reason why I tune into The Foodnetwork, for drama-free programing. I love the contest aspect of this show, and I don't think there is a need the bring in contestants to "create more conflict". Where last season I felt a connection with the majority of the contestants, along with some feel-good entertainment, this season I find myself less interested and angry about the show. I really only feel a connection with Vic Vegas, and maybe that's because I'm from Vegas.

I LOVE watching the food network, so of course I have been watching The Next Foodwork Star, and I have to say I HATE Penny, and can't believe she is still in the competion. Her but needs to GO!!! She's harsh, mean and not a team player, when she talks I'd like to punch her in the mouth, and I am not a violent person. I really like Vic "Vegas", I think given the chance he could be a real asset to The Food Network Family.

I agree with most of what Jane said. I would not watch Penny's show. I would turn her off as soon as I identified her.

I am happy that you have all the italian ladies on there. I am happy that you have some mexican influence ladies on there.
I do not want any more of them. That is enough. I want something different and frankly Aarti is enough for me of Indian food. Ethnicity is more than covered on your network.
I love, love, love Jyll's concept of small bites. I love this!!!! This is the kind of show I want to see on your network. I would buy the cookbook and watch the small bites or tapas or whatever concept you have on a regular basis. I also love the midwest bent to her cooking. I cant do a good taco either but I sure do want to learn how she does her other dishes.
So Susie may be cute and have soul and can cook up a storm but I dont want any more mexican or spanish or ethnic cooking shows. Reconsider Jyll and her concept even if she doesnt shine outside her comfort zone.

I have watched food networkstar from the beginning. I get a lot of receipes from your stars. I love your network but how can you keep Penny on as she had said she trusts NO ONE!!!!!!!
THERE IS NO WAY I WILL WATCH HER SHOW. I THINK YOU NEED TO LOOK FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE KIND AND WE WANT TO INVITE IN OUR HOMES EVERYDAY.
SHE IS DIFFENTLY NOT SOMEONE WHO WARMS YOUR HEART.
I hope I have made my self perfectly CLEAR as to how I feel things are going on this show. I watc h Food and HGTV most nights and weekendes but will not watch PENNY if she is voted on to have a show. I love everything you do but she is not someone who will be sucessful on this chanel. J Truett
