    Based on the criteria, Kirk Gibson, while a sentimental favorite, should not qualify for the list. He was injured for significant parts of the 1989 and 1990 seasons. He really played a primary starter's role for only the 1988 season.

    Correction: Zack Wheat is the only hall of famer on the list whose primary team was the Dodgers. Medwick was a Cardinal, primarily.

    Zack Wheat should be hands down number 1, people. He's the only hall of famer on the list! I can accept Tommy Davis ahead of Zack Wheat, though. Dusty Baker should not be number 1. My list is Wheat, Davis & Baker...in that order!
