Should the Nats try to acquire Rays outfielder B.J. Upton?

actually werth and upton will sit together on the bench since both are struggling right now.

Upton would be a great addition! He is a five tool player (exactly what the Nats are looking for). He's not a leadoff hitter though. He doesn't have great numbers with the Rays, but if you look at his splits, he plays much better on the road, on grass, and in the national league. I think it would be good for both Upton and the Nationals. I know he doesn't really want to leave Tampa because of the friendships he has made, but he has known Zim for a long time and it might be one place Upton could feel comfortable in quickly.

Cost for Upton will be too high, especially for the quality of upgrade he will be at CF.

Upton doesn't look like much of an upgrade from Bernadina in CF or at the leadoff spot where the Nats need a force. OBP of .312 just isn't compelling.

He and Jayson Werth would kill each other in the clubhouse.

I would MUCH rather acquire Bourn from Houston.
