Do You Think Digital Pirates Purchase More Products Than Non-Pirates?

I put "maybe" because I don't know about many people's habits. One person I know downloads music occasionally, but mostly bootleg/rare/out-of-print stuff that can't really be purchased. He has a large CD/music collection he's purchased. For film/video he has a taste for classic and experimental art films and the like, and he'd love for them to be more available and accessible *anywhere* (hasn't really pirated them). He has a decent sized DVD collection.

It's the claim, but I have serious doubts. This poll is bogus because it will get the answer it wants.

I like to think that they do, mostly because they get to test it out first, and if it is good, buy it.

You will still have the ones that would never have bought it in the first place, but i find when you want to try a game out, the demo just doesn't cut it, it is missing features and other pieces of the game necessary to make an informed decision as to whether you like it or not.

When it comes to a movie, you don't want to end up spending $20.00 on the DVD/Blu-Ray only to find you don't like it but can't get your money back, so you often pirate it first, and if it is any good, pay the money for it.
